Stacking games
A stacking game is a pile and a drop: something moves above the stack and you choose the moment to let go. Barumba has one stacking game, Clonk Stack.
What makes stacking work
The best stackers are one input and a lot of judgement. You learn the speed, you learn the edges, and every mistake shows on the tower. When a bad drop also shrinks what you have to work with, each decision carries forward.
How Clonk Stack plays
A block glides back and forth above the tower. Tap or press Space to drop it. Any overhang is sliced off, so the next block is narrower. Land dead-centre for a Clonk: the block keeps its width, the combo climbs, and from the third Clonk in a row the block starts growing back. Three misses or 60 seconds end the run.
A tower you can compare
Clonk Stack runs in the browser with no download, and its daily mode gives every player the same tower for the UTC day. That turns a solo high-score game into a shared one.
- Clonk Stack
A one-minute block stacking game. Drop the gliding block, keep the tower wide, and land dead-centre for a Clonk.
Not into stacking?
- Bell Dash
A one-minute three-lane runner. Switch lanes to collect notes, build a chain up to ×4 and dodge the blocks.
- Ringlink
A one-minute connect-the-rings puzzle. Drag through matching rings, make long links, and close loops to clear a whole colour.
- Tally Tiles
A one-minute number tile puzzle. Drag a path of touching tiles that adds up to the target. Every target is solvable.
